Refund policy
Everything we sell is a software license delivered as a product key by email. A refund is available while the key has not been used to activate and you tell us in writing; there is no deadline while the key is unused. A key counts as used once Windows or Office has accepted it and shows as activated. Once a key has activated successfully and you simply no longer want it, it cannot be returned for a refund. A key that is accepted and later stops working is covered by the lifetime activation guarantee.
How a refund request works
- Write to us Your order number and, for activation problems, the exact error code. Our chat answers at any hour and our team is on hand 24/7 for anything it cannot solve.
- We try to fix it We start with the error code. If the key is at fault, we replace it.
- Refund approved If the policy covers your case, we refund in full to your original payment method.
- Money back Your bank sets the pace from there; card refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
When we refund in full
- Your key never activated and we cannot supply a working replacement. This is the main case. The lifetime activation guarantee runs for the life of the license, so tell us whenever a key fails and we replace it. If no key we sent has ever activated, you get your money back in full; there is no deadline while the key is unused.
- Your key was never delivered and we are unable to deliver it.
- The key has not been used to activate and you tell us in writing. Write to us and we cancel and refund. There is no deadline while the key is unused.
- Your PC is not compatible. If your PC turns out not to be compatible, we refund only if the key was not used to activate and you tell us in writing.
- The listing was wrong. If what you received does not match what the product page stated — a different edition, a different license type, or a restriction we did not disclose — that is our error, and we refund it.
Exchanges
Bought the wrong edition? If the key has not been used to activate, tell us and we exchange it for the right one: you pay the difference, or we refund it. Once a key has activated successfully, it cannot be exchanged.
When we do not refund
- A key that has activated successfully, when you simply no longer want it. Once a license key has been used it cannot be returned to stock or resold, so we cannot take it back for a change of mind. If you are not certain you need the license, do not activate it — ask us first. A key that was accepted and later reports as not activated, as an Unlicensed Product, or with an activation-server error is not a change of mind: it is covered by the lifetime activation guarantee, within the limits on that page.
- A PC that is not compatible, when the key was used to activate. If you are unsure whether your PC is compatible, ask us before you activate the key.
- The wrong edition once the key has activated successfully, when the listing stated the edition correctly. We will still try to help, but a correct listing read differently is not a defect.
How to ask for one
Write to us at support@mydigisoftshop.com with your order number and, if the problem is activation, the exact error code on your screen. That code is what tells us what happened, and most activation problems get solved without a refund at all — start at the Activation Center.
Our chat answers at any hour and our team is on hand 24/7 for anything it cannot solve. If we agree a refund, it returns to your original payment method. Your bank sets the pace from there; card refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
Before you call your bank
If something has gone wrong, write to us before opening a dispute with your bank. We would rather fix it directly, and a direct message is usually the quickest route.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content ends once delivery has begun with your consent — which, for a license key, is the moment the key is delivered to you.
